My SteedBeads products for horses may now be embellished with faux suede leather tassels. The readymade SteedBeads rhythm beads shown above are available on my website. They illustrate how the tassels can be incorporated into these jingling necklaces to beautifully dangle across a horse’s chest.
I have ordered a supply of these tassels in six colors from a Chinese supplier. They have metal caps, not the cheap plastic caps or polyester tassel material found on knock-off tassels of this type. I am hopeful that the synthetic leather in these tassels will be more durable and cleanable than real leather would be, especially given the notoriously sweaty and dirty environment in which they will be used.
The colors I currently stock are shown below. Many other colors, including goldtone metal caps instead of silvertone caps, are available by special order, but such requests will extend order delivery by 3-4 weeks, due to the shipment time from China.
Tassels may be added to orders for custom SteedBeads, SteedBeads Mane Dangles, or SteedBeads Saddle Dangles for an additional charge of $1.00 per tassel. To order custom SteedBeads products that include some of these tassels, order the custom product(s) and then send me an email requesting the number and color of tassels you would like incorporated into the design. I will send you a PayPal invoice for the extra tassel charge. I will also email you photos of the completed design for your approval prior to shipment of your order via USPS Priority Mail.
