An iridescent blue dichroic glass cabochon sits in glittery aqua and pearl enamel in a silvertone resin-filled round bezel on the swirled blue stained glass top of this large 14-day pillbox.
Turn the pillbox over to access its two rows of 7 compartments. They have separate hinged lids labeled with letters and Braille for the days of the week. Each row of compartments is a different color, as this box combines two of the medium 7-day strip boxes back to back, separated by a matching glass panel. One week’s compartments are transparent clear and the other week’s are transparent blue. Compartments have curved bottoms so their contents can be easily dispensed. This is a popular box size and configuration, as it is typically not available in retail stores. See the Size Guide for details.
You also could use this pill organizer for two weeks’ daily doses or one week’s morning/evening doses. It would also make a very pretty jewelry case.
This pill organizer has a hardly noticeable production flaw, hence its $5.00 price reduction. When the glue was curing, the blue glass top unfortunately cracked under the bezel. The box was so beautiful, and so much work had gone into its creation, that Kristi decided to add a durable layer of clear resin over the entire glass top. This gave it a smooth surface and firmly seated the bezel in the resin. You will have to look closely to see the crack, which is mostly hidden by the bezel.
