This week, I joined the Elko Nevada Chamber of Commerce to help promote my creative endeavors. Among the many benefiits the Chamber offers is a presence on the Chamber’s website. My page looks like a mini-website, and it contains many links to my own website, KristiLynGlass.com. It also features a slide show of various creations and more. The April Chamber of Commerce newsletter will contain an article about my joining the Chamber and my exhibit at Blohm Jewelers. Included will be a picture of my Judges’ Choice Award work, “Why a Plain Brown Horse?” This will be distributed to over 600 Chamber members.
The Chamber will also be displaying more prominently my creations for sale on consignment in its gift shop. (I was previously placing items on consignment there as a member of the Elko County Art Club.) The Chamber sponsors two Business After Hours events annually for home-based businesses where I will be able to show my creations and network with local business members.
