On Saturday, Oct. 5, I had a large booth at the annual Lamoille Nevada Harvest Festival. This is the only such event I do each year, so I enjoyed talking to many folks about my prayer beads, decorative pill organizers, UnderCovers (secret storage cubes), Horsey Magnets and Stickers, and NE Nevada Photo Magnets. I brought my full inventory, and I made a good number of sales, though the crowd seemed smaller than previous years.
It was a beautiful day, and the event included many other handmade art and craft booths, plus a Farmer’s Market, petting zoo, face painting, live music, and food vendors. This article in the Elko Daily Free Press will tell and show you more about the Festival and my participation in it.
I couldn’t have done the festival without my wonderful helpers, Mary Dee Norris and Nancy O’Nell. Mary Dee helped with sales, and Nancy was the perfect tech-savvy cashier.
