The Elko County Art Club’s 2011 Annual Show and Sale will hang in the upstairs gallery at the Northeastern Nevada Museum, in Elko, Nevada, Feb. 1 through May 3, 2011. As mentioned earlier, I have six new works entered in this show.
I hope locals will make special plans to attend the show’s free reception Thursday, March 10, from 6 – 8 p.m. , as there will be no charge to enter the museum that night. The reception offers a sumptuous buffet and the opportunity to meet the featured artists and hear them give a short descriptions of their entered artwork.
Unlike the ECAC’s previous Annual Shows, this show and sale was not judged, so there will be no cash prizes or awards presented at the reception. Each member of the ECAC was invited to submit up to six works.
I will be preparing prints and notecards of some of my entered works to to add to my items for sale at the Museum’s gift shop.
