I recently made some of my teal and green UTEEite embellishments into five hat-shaped pins, and a pig pin that some say looks more like a rhinoceros. I embellished them with fancy beaded hat bands and gave the pig a stunning iridescent ear and blue beaded collar. Each of the blue hat pins is approximately 2″ wide, and the green one is 3″ wide.
Most of the UTEEite hat shapes were created when I made a pin/pendant using my snowflake cookie cutter. These cute hats were the left-over pieces of UTEEite. The beautiful teal and white snowflake pin/pendant quickly sold on my website.
While I was into making pins, I also turned two UTEE-clad wooden butterflies into pins and gave them faceted glass bead bodies and bead-tipped flexible colored wire antennae.
Check out all these fun new pins on my website, and let me know what you think! Should I make more of these hat pins (and more large snowflakes) in different colors of UTEEite? Should I make more butterfly pins? I look forward to your comments!
