I recently created a dozen new Protestant prayer beads and posted them for sale on my website. One of them, shown below, is a matching set of a prayer bead necklace and chaplet bracelet. Both feature turquoise Howlite stone crosses and some cute pink and aqua enameled metal fish beads. The other new creations are either standard length prayer beads or prayer bead necklaces.
A favorite of mine, the Purple Green Faceted Prayer Beads, shown below, has faceted Swiss cross shaped iridescent glass Week beads. When viewed on one side, they look purple; on the other side, they look green. The Cruciform beads on this set are round lampworked transparent purple flowered glass with green centers. The iridized Hematite cross looks purple on one side, and green on the other. Faceted iridescent purple and green rectangular spacer beads complete this very matchy-matchy set. It feels very delicate and opulent in hand and definitely dazzles the eye.
The Red Trees Prayer Bead Necklace, shown below, has red glass roller-ball Cruciform beads and silver-plated tree-of-life spacer beads and pendant. This is an especially meaningful set, whether you view God as your “tree of life” when you pray or you want to wear this necklace as a beautiful statement of faith.
The Blue Daisy Spinner Prayer Beads, shown below, has a unique spinning-heart pendant. It is embossed with “AND NOW THESE THREE REMAIN FAITH, HOPE AND LOVE” around its rim and “But the GREATEST of these is LOVE” on one side of the spinning heart. Embossed on the other side of the heart is “1 COR 13:13”. This set feels especially nice in hand, with the different heart and flower bead shapes and textures.
The heart spins easily in your fingers as you pray.
Other prayer beads in this batch feature faux Malachite beads, creamy bone-shaped beads, rainbow tie-died and peace-symbol beads, a pink agate slab pendant, a textured rainbow iridized cross, and more.
